THE PROJECT is the live touring band which was founded, and is based, in England

 

THE PROJECT featuring former Recording Artists of The Alan Parsons Project are now planning engagements for 2022 and 2023. They may also be accepting choice dates during the 4th quarter of 2021 based on the travel and health rules for each country. This is the first world tour the band has ever embarked on. This website for the group is has biographical information, photographs, contact information and even a backline list which can help when planning the stage set-up in the initial stages of discussion.

 

The on-stage personnel are LENNY ZAKATEK (Vocals), STUART ELLIOTT (Drums), RICHARD COTTLE (Keyboards & Sax), LAURENCE COTTLE (Bass) and ANDREW POWELL (Piano and Conductor on symphonic shows). Guest guitarists and vocalists are DAVID BAINBRIDGE and SAM BLUE. As his schedule allows DAVID PATON, who also performed in October 1990, may perform with THE PROJECT in the future. IAN BAIRNSON guitarist also on the October 1990 show, no longer tours or performs live engagements.

 

Each concert features songs from The Alan Parsons Project catalog including “Games People Play,” “I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You,”  “Damned If I Do,” “Sirius,” ”Eye in the Sky,” “The Raven,” “(The System of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether,” “Time,” “Snake Eyes,” “Old and Wise,” “Psychobabble,” “Don’t Answer Me,” and many more.

 

There will be a new live album release at the end of 2021. This was recorded during their historic re-grouping for their June 5, 2019 re-boot concert in Barcelona. These gentlemen have not performed together since October of 1990 in Antwerp, Belgium.
